Jordan's Commercial

We still have yet to see it on tv.. But, everyone has messaged Jordan once they have seen it :) it's been so fun! If you have not seen it yet... here it is!:

I'm quite enjoying my new favorite tv shows... "Once Upon A Time" & "Grimm"! Now that I have these shows in my life, the week goes by so slow! Fridays and Sundays just can't come soon enough! If you haven't had a taste of them yet... you should check them both out on Hulu.com!

The Ellen Show

Something not many people know is that when Jordan and I were dating, and at that time we were talking about becoming engaged. Jordan told me that he is so scared to talk to my dad but, I told him it's a requirement to marry me :).

A few days later I was watching my favorite show Ellen. Along the bottom of the screen during her show is info of stuff on their website. At one point the bar said " Have something that you need Ellen's help with? Tell us your story at the ellentv.com"... In my mind "DING DING DING DING DING!" So, when Jordan got off work we went online!

It basically said that Jordan wanted help in asking my dad if he could marry me. Along with your story you need to post a picture. We posted our saloon picture (below).

A few days later JORDAN RECEIVED A CALL! It was from Ellen's office! The lady said the picture is why she called! The lady told Jordan that the phone interview will take about 10 minutes... they spoke on the phone for over an hour! Jordan had her laughing and falling in love with him (he does that very well). At the end of the phone call she said that the next step is talking with the director, and that she would call him sometime that week. Then the next step would be the SHOW!

Jordan called me right away. I didn't believe him at all and was just laughing. Then he started telling me the conversation they had... in my mind I thought... he can't make this up! I was SO excited!! So that week we anxiously waited for the Director of the Ellen show to call.

Finally she called! Jordan and her talked for a while... answering a few of her questions. Then the question came up.. how old are you two? When he told her... she then said she had to call him back. ... well, she never did. LAME!

We didn't tell anyone about it because... we didn't want people to know that we were talking about getting engaged... honestly we forgot about it over time...

So, last week we remembered and told my parents... they laughed! But, seriously.. how cool would that have been?! BEST EVER! Those who do not know... my dad said NO to Jordan the first time he asked... So, we asked my dad how much more different the conversation would have gone if Ellen asked... he just replied... I could say no to Ellen.

Good thing my dad didn't say no to Jordan the second time :)

ANYWAYS Ellen I still love you but, your Director is lame... but, I will still watch your show.

Officially a SINQUEFIELD

I guess yesterday was a good day to finally become a Sinquefield. It was 11-1-11 after all.... Jordan and I also kissed at 1:11. So we kissed on 11-1-11 at 1:11. GOOD DAY!

Halloween Party 2011

It was our 5th annual Halloween Party! We actually didn't do it last year ( I can't remember why!). I love Halloween and this years party was WAAAAYYYY too much fun!! Jordan & I were Buzz & Jessie from "Toy Story 2 & 3" I know what your thinking... shouldn't Jordan be Woody...NO. Woody and Bo-peep are boyfriend and girlfriend. Jessie and Buzz are the HOT item! RAWR!

The party was SO much fun! So many people I hadn't seen in SO long came and partied all night! Even a ton of new faces! It's always a joy to be walking through your home (my parents home) and run into someone and you have no idea who they are and they have no idea that it is your home. AWESOME!

We played the name game! I pinned villain names on everyones back, they could only ask yes or no questions to figure out who they were. No...they were not all Disney. The hardest one I had, who actually was on every top 5 villains of all time on EVERY website was.....The SHARK from JAWS! Another was Biff Tannen from Back to the future, I think i'm the only person in the world who knows who he is when I hear that name. We also played murder in the dark and sardines! A big hit at the party was the wii game "Just Dance" there was no one moment where no one was playing! WAYYYY toooooo much fun! Thank you to Annie (The minion on the left... genius costumes though.. right!?) for helping with the party! Thank you to those who came and we missed all those who could not make it!

Sorry to those who arrived after the group picture! I wish we would have done it later! We will do that NEXT YEAR!!

1 year down.... eternity to go!

We have been married for one year and one day!! I have the best husband in the world who surprised me with a wonderful 1st year getaway (I'm sure to make up for our first night as well). We stayed at the Park City Hotel! Our room was absolutely amazing! We even had our own hot tub! Once we got to our room Jordan said we had to leave for an appointment! He had booked us an hour couples massage, which was DELIGHTFUL and much needed! We ended the wonderful day with a steak dinner at Ruth Chris! BEST. DINNER. EVER! We were going to eat our wedding cake but we were just too full! So the next day we had fun sleeping in and hanging out together! When we checked out we went and did the alpine slide and the coaster! We had done that the day after our wedding too! We figured it might be a fun tradition! Once we picked up Pocket and got home we finally had our cake.. After a year of being in the freezer it's still good!

On my way ...

It's been 9 days since I told you my story. Since then I have lost 5 pounds! That may not be a lot but, it's a lot to me :). What I have been doing everyday is the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. It's only 20 minutes a day! Of course i'm watching what I eat as well. I would reccommend this video to anyone trying to loose weight. You for sure need to stick to it and give it your all! Videos are hard because there is no one really pushing you... You could slack off if you want. BUT serioiusly listening to what she says during the work out makes you want to give it your all! You may laugh but.. when you need any type of motivation... this gal is awesome. Also.. I head the saying from my friend Anisa "Nothing Tastes as Good as Skinny Feels". That saying has been helping me lots too :)

I have also started to dance again, which makes me the happiest person around! I LOVE dancing! I may not be the best at it but I can never get enough of it! Now that i'm starting my new job, hopefully I will be able to dance more! Like... possibly do Synergy :) I know it's a ways away... but, during the Halloween season you can see me and my zombie friends performing every Friday at Wheeler Farm :)
